Angledle

Privacy Policy

Angledle is a small daily puzzle that runs entirely in your browser. We collect as little as we can — no account, no sign-up, no personal profile. This page explains exactly what happens to your data.

Your game data

Your puzzle progress, statistics, streaks, and settings are stored locally on your device using your browser’s storage. Clearing your browser storage erases it permanently.

Analytics

To get a rough sense of how many people visit and which puzzles they enjoy, we use two analytics tools:

Fathom Analytics — a privacy-first, cookieless analytics service. It counts anonymous, aggregated page views without setting cookies, without storing personal data, and without building a profile of you or following you across other sites. Because it stores nothing on your device, it runs by default.

PostHog — product analytics that helps us improve the game, including occasional session recordings on a small sample of visits to see how the interface is used. PostHog runs only if you accept analytics in the consent banner; decline and it stays off. Its data is hosted in the European Union.

Cookies & consent

Angledle itself uses only the local storage needed to run the game and remember your preferences. Optional analytics (PostHog) is enabled only after you opt in through the consent banner, and Fathom stores nothing on your device at all. You can change your choice at any time from the banner.

What we don’t do

We don’t show ads, we don’t sell or share your data, and we don’t use tracking that follows you around the web.
